Service Description
Developmental Editing (characters, story arcs, plot points): $0.10 per word Stylistic Line Edit (organizing sentence structure to elevate your prose in your voice) : $0.04 per word, Voice-to-Text has an upcharge ~$0.10, depending on state of draft Proofreading (meticulous attention to grammatical details): $0.03 per word *includes 3-5 week turnaround, upon receipt of your manuscript, 50% deposit & optional self-edit example *expedited edits (1-2 week turnaround) require an additional $0.05 per word, across the board *English language
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, please allow at least 24 hours for either party. Late rescheduling is allowed with no penalty, but late cancellation (within 24 hours of scheduled session) will result in 10% payment of original fee. If you do not feel prepared to discuss your piece, please let me know - I completely understand the delicacy of showing your work and receiving constructive criticism. If you would like to send an updated draft to be considered as the basis of our consultation, please email a request, and upon approval, send the draft at least 48 hours before our scheduled session.
